For the two fathers, the idea that something that had a lot of obvious power was both alluring and daunting. This quite likely had abilities that were amazing, and were things that they knew could be used in assorted ways. They weren't about to allow it, whatever it was, to just go along without any attempt to stop it. And if only they could find some way to defeat it, then they could use it for their own purposes.

Which wasn't to say that there were other thoughts running through their heads at the moment.

Soun crouched in his spot at the hallway and scowled. Coming up the stairs was something that could hurt his babies and he wasn't about to allow that to happen. Just the image of Kasumi becoming a serving spoon or a pot was enough to make him grit his teeth and face whatever was coming. He was not about to allow something to invade his home and get away with it.

Genma knelt across the hall from his friend and warily watched for any sign of the intruder. It was a martial artist's duty to defend the weak, such as the Tendo girls, and as his son was too busy playing games with his fiancee, it was up to him. He would stop this creature, and save them from the transformations. Once he did, then he would have time to yell at the boy for not doing it himself.

Neither of them were remembering the fact that everyone who had gone up against the intruder had either been transformed, or nearly had. The thought simply hadn't occured to them, as they had thought that success was ultimately assured. Besides, if could transform people into objects, then it could have other powers that they could find.

So they glanced at each other and nodded grimly as the intruder made its way onto the second floor. They waited until it had taken a few steps into the hall before acting.

"What are you doing here?!" bellowed Soun in full 'Demon Head' mode.

Taking the opportunity, Genma-panda sprung into action, tossing a sheet over the intruder with a call of "GROWF!"

Once the intruder was covered with the cloth, the Tendo Patriarch sprung at the legs of the sheet clad figure, while:
