They had already made all the introductions, leaving out Brittany's lychanthrope status for the moment. Luckily since Genn was around Brittany and Seance had been able to partake and listen to the conversations.
"So, you don't know how you got here?" Gina asked after Ranma had got done telling him about his trip.
Not really," Ranma replied. "Like I said before, one moment I was just walking down the street in Nerima, and next I was here." Although he had suspicions of how. One, the universe just decided to screw with his life again, or some rival had got a hold of some mystical thingamajig and made that freaky portal send him to America. In his mind Ranma could already see some idiot like Kuno or Mousse laughing about how they git rid of him. But it wasn't like he was going to tell them that. The less weird people thought he was, the better. Of course it didn't help Ranma's hopes of staying inconspicuous with what happened in the kitchen ten minutes ago.
A second after Ranma told Gina her answer, she shifted her eyes every so slightly to Genn, who just slowly nodded in response. Being empathic the shape changer was a lot more reliable than some lie detector, and a lot more inconspicuous as well.
"So Gina's whatchamajig is responsible then huh?" Cheetah said before frowning at her sister.
"It's JUST a DISHWASHER!" Gina shouted for the second time since this whole mess began. "Oh by the way, Ranma was it, where is exactly is that anyway? Nerima I mean."
It's in Japan," Ranma told her. Seeing the blank stares he was getting from Gina and that Genn guy, Ranma decided to give them more information. "You know... Tokyo?"
"Oh, right, okay... Tokyo, of course," Gina replied with a small forced chuckle after seeing from Genn he was telling the truth. Although she had never heard of a place in Tokyo called Nerima.
Then again, when the heck had she ever looked at a map of Japan?
Then, Ranma was from Earth? But that didn't make any sense. He crashed into their walls plenty of times hard enough to shatter bone and got up with barely a scratch. Maybe he had some cheesy superman-ish background or something, like he was really an alien sent to Earth and just didn't know it.
"Oh geeze that reminds me," Ranma suddenly exclaimed before jumping up. "I need to call my old man and the others to tell them what happened! I uh, don't suppose you would mind me borrowing your phone?" Forget the phone, how the heck was he going to get home? Swimming from Japan to China and back was one thing, but crossing the Atlantic ocean was even out of his league.
"Uh sure," Brianna replied before grabbing the kid rather reluctantly and leading im down the hall away from the others. During the introductions Brianna had unfortantly heard Ranma's age was below eighteen. Now, while Brianna might of had no problem say, locking a certain shape shifter in her room till he satisfied her appatite, even some things were beneath her. Sleeping with someone who had not yet achived drinking age being one of them.
Even if Ranma technically was more than five times older than her.
As soon as the youngest Diggers sister and their new acutance were out of hearing range, Gina looked over to their resident psychic. "Genn, you get anything?"
"You just wanted me to tell you if he was lying or not remember?" Genn reminded her. "Which he wasn't by the way, it was all true. Although some of the images I got when he mentioned his father were a little confusing. But without something beyond a surface scan I can't tell you anything."
"Don't even ask," Séance said before Gina could speak. "It's just way too confusing."
