Everything seemed to stop all at once.

When it restarted:

• it was straightened out. Nobody's engaged to Ranma.
• it was straightened out. Ranma is now the prince of a some alien vaguely 1001 nights kind of planet and married to all the girls. And then some.
• it was straightened out by Ranma's marriage to Hotaru Tomoe.
• it was straightened out by all of the fiancees becoming genies whose rings were bound to him.
• it was straightened out by replacing this Ranma with the Ranma from "Wild Horses & Pokeboys" - a very misogynistic Ranma
• something else
