Wild Aura: Genma's Lament [Episode 72000]

by Proteus

"Accident, ha!" Genma replied to Ranma question. "I was the one who trained that girl, and there's no way that she would shame our family any more than she has by being crippled in a stupid accident!"

"Here we go again," Akane mumbled to herself while wondering why Ranma had to ask THAT particular question; she had told him what happened to Ranko earlier. 'Although, it's probably one of those writer things, all sides of the story and that stuff' she thought.

"No, my useless daughter was injured in a battle between herself and another martial artist," he said. "Oh the shame, being crippled by a practitioner of such a weaker and pathetic art! I may have taught the girl everything she knows but the teacher can only do so much before the students ineptitude shows."

"Gee, I'm sorry I brought up such painful memories for you," Ranma replied sarcastically to the pompous ass as he ranted about his 'worthless daughter some more and if he had gotten a son, things would be different. 'Must keep low profile, mustn’t use flaming skull, must not kill, mustn’t turn into 6 inch play toy and send to were-wolves, or maybe just let Ranko keep him for a pet.' Ranma told himself while imagining a tiny Genma in a gerbil cage, being forced to run on the exercise wheel to loose weight while his 'wothless daughter' held a peice of food on a string in front of him for motavation.

"That's quite alright," Genma replied. "I know how you gaijin don't have much in the way of manners."

Ranma's eye twitched even more. "Low profile," he mumbled in English. "Must keep low profile."
