Ah well, at least it was a chance to show off a bit.
So, just about as she was about to draw her sword and go medieval on their asses...
"Hey, what's going on over here?" an overly friendly voice called out. It was a tall figure and had a tail, but thanks to the fact he was standing directly in the light, Lydia couldn't make out anything else. "Oh now that's not very nice, all of you guys picking on just one little girl."
"Little girl?" Lydia mumbled under her breath. Maybe she should just let the goons kill the guy...naw that was too cruel. Besides, this was the first okay guy she had met since coming here, and although Lydia would love all the fanfare, traveling alone would be kind of a drag. 'Oh wait, this is the part where the maiden is supposed to act all afraid and the dashing hero comes to rescue her.'
The wererat sighed, whoever this guy was better not repeat what as about to happen to anyone else.
After getting in the right mindset Lydia quickly collapsed to the ground and closed her eyes in an 'I'm to afraid to even look' fashion that most girls of this type seemed to use. With that done she quickly came up with a few 'look at me, I'm a @@#$ing wuss that can't do #$%@ unless some overbearing @$$ of a guy comes to save me' lines. "OH HELP SAVE ME, SOMEONE PLEASE SAVE ME!"
Meanwhile up on the hill Raphael Ray, the werecheetah golem, blinked a few times as the girl surrounded by the bandits suddenly started screaming her head off. From the look of thins the way Sheila explained to him back in the edge guard days she was being mugged, or robbed, or something along those lines.
Well, since he was supposed to be a wandering swordsman of some type (although he had gotten rid of the armor a long time ago as it was a little had to move around in) that saved people, the he had better save the little girl too.
