"Uh, mom?" Gina asked a little hesitantly.
"I'll deal with them later," Julia mumbled before turning to face her daughter. "Now then, lets get you over to your father. Hopefully he'll be able to get rid of this blasted magic that made you like this."
"D-do we have to?" Gina asked, knowing full well her father was going to give her another lecture about the dangers of magic. "I can just try using my lab to cure it and-"
"You remember what happened the last time you tried that?" Julia asked. "Now come on."
"Ow, ow mom! I'm coming, just leggo okay?" Gina asked while her mother grabbed a hold of one of her ears and pulled the girl along.
Awhile later after Gina agreed to willingly go along....
"Gina," Julia said while they walked through the underground complex towards the main house. "Just out of curiosity, what in the world were you planning to do with this water anyway?"
"Just a few experiments to find out what it did...although I've got a pretty good guess now," Gina said after looking herself over and shuddering.
"You mean to tell me you were messing around with magic that you didn't understand at all?" Julia demanded.
"Well, sort of," Gina told her. "The place I got this from was called the pools of sorrow! I thought it was something like the ghosts of the people who drowned there were trapped in the water or something. If you ask me that valley is seriously mislabeled."
As they reached the elevator Julia just sighed before helping to drape the blanket over Gina once again and stepped inside. This was going to be one of THOSE days.
