"AAAAHH!" "Divine Retribution!" ZAP!
...while the young man being chased by the flying, green-haired Oni-girl indicates that this is a Takahashi-type universe.
As predicted by the weathergirl that morning, it began to rain, and people put on raincoats, opened umbrellas, rushed under cover, or just bore it stoically.
One person who wasn't particularly stoic about it, but was pretty much expecting something like this, was about to enter from a side street.
Short, cute girl, red hair in a pigtail, red silk shirt plastered to her torso by the rain - incidentally showing both that she isn't wearing a bra, and that the rain is quite cold - black pants (also wet), martial arts stance. Definitely Onna- Ranma, definitely annoyed.
Approaching her is the reason for her annoyance: a tall, portly-but-muscular, Yeti.
...wait, Yeti?!
Yes, its a Yeti, wearing glasses and a gi that has clearly seen better days (about twenty years ago), also taking up a martial arts stance.
(Of course, with over one hundred Springs, the chances of Genma always falling into Spring of Drowned Panda, in every timeline, are pretty low, so it shouldn't be too surprising.)
The fight goes mostly the way you'd expect: jab-block-kick-dodge-jumpkick et cetra.
But now, the pigtailed-'girl' strikes a pressure point above the Yeti's stomach, and the beast's right arm goes slack. A quick follow-up, one-two-three, and the poorly dressed Yeti is on his back.
Calmly, the red-haried teenager picks up her backpack and walks away, muttering.
"Hmph, choosin' my fiancee when I wasn't even born yet. Stupid old man!"
The old man in question, still a Yeti, touches a point with his left hand-paw, restoring movement to his right arm, and gets up, silently. Drawing in his Ki, he slips up behind his 'daughter', touching a pressure point by her left ear, rendering her unconscious.
With surprising gentleness, he picks her (and her pack) up, and heads off to their destination.
