The logistics of arranging a phone call to a creature that lived in seclusion that far from everywhere else were... staggering.
But nothing was impossible with a little effort.
And so it was that Ranma, in his cursed form, brooded silently in his dark manor, until a knock came to his door. Unable to stop his cursed form's wretched response, he howled internally, opening the doorway to meet a man in a clean suit.
The suit was red and blue. The man wore dark sunglasses, and Ranma couldn't see his eyes, only the note the man was holding in his left hand: "I am blind and deaf."
The note vanished after a moment, and the man produced a phone from a pocket, which promptly began to ring. Ranma accepted the phone, confused, as the man wheeled about abruptly, and vanished into nothingness. He fumbled for a moment to press a button on the phone, and a cheerful voice informed him, "Thank you for calling the Goddess Relief Office, my name is Belldandy. I'll be with you shortly!" followed by a sharp click.
His body's normal responses subsided, and Ranma cocked his head to one side, frowning. This was highly unusual. HIGHLY unusual.
Shaking his head, he dismissed it, and dropped the phone, turning to walk into the house, and then freezing, dumbstruck, as a woman smiled at him pleasantly from within, slight glowing markings on her face seeming to brighten in time to an invisible pulse.
"Hello, Ranma!" she announced. "I suppose your body won't really tell me what you wish," she mused leaning forward to peer at him intently. "But I suppose I can just read your mind, and find out what you wish for!"
