Nope, he would not be going home just yet. Ranma had to be somewhere. It was just a matter of finding him.
The terms of the spell had been warped. Instead of summoning a demon to make Ranma a greater fighter, it had gotten reversed and tangled up.
So it was now sending Ranma to where he could become a hero. More or less. Sort of, kind of. Certain exclusions, limitations, and provisions may apply. Offer not available in all areas.
A screaming little boy, tumbling end over end through a very strange area, was not aware of much of this. Whatever his father was doing was supposed to make him a powerful fighter and teach him a new technique. Feeling as if he'd just been sucked through a 1/4 inch straw and then vomitted out into zero-gravity space did absolutely nothing for his confidence in his father.
If the Joker had decided to take hallucinatory medications and then indulge his artistic side in oil paintings, that might have described some of what Ranma was tumbling through.
A huge disembodied eyeball appeared, blinked at the image of the boy, and then broke up into thousands of laughing mouths. This did not do a darn thing for Ranma's peace of mind at present.
Neither did the sound of clocks tocking as time ran sideways, nor the sight of sour or the sound of bright.
Mercifully, unconsciousness finally claimed him.
