"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!"
"Coooooome... back... with my... JEWEL!" The Mistress Centipede hissed. Ranma sweatdropped as the girl started to run towards him.
"Why does this happen to me?" he groaned.
Kagome then trips, wincing in pain. The centipede youkai stared at the young school girl with her emotionless face. "Giiiiive... me the Jewel... of four souls..." she ordered. Kagome quickly stood up and ran. She tried to get away, but the youkai managed to bite her side. A small little bead came out of her.
Ranma had a strange urge to go and grab it.
"The Shikon... Jewel... is MINE!" the youkai shrieked as she coiled her body around the two teenagers. Kagome groaned and looked up. She saw the boy the was previously asleep.
"Um... Hi?" Ranma said nervously with a sweatdrop. Kagome blinked.
"Gr... Ow! Gimme back that bead thingie!" Kagome shouted at the youkai. Mistress Centipede snickered.
"Finally... The power of the Shikon Jewel is ALL MINE!" she shouted as she swallowed the magical bead. Suddenly her skin tore off, revealing a more powerful youkai.
"This is not goood..." Kagome whispered. Ranma had an idea.
"Hey. Can you pull this arrow out?" he asked. Kagome looked at the weapon embedded in the boy's chest. She started to pull it out, but a shout stopped her.
"NO! You mustn't! That is the seal that keeps him there!" Kaede shouted. Ranma snorted.
"Would you rather have the centipede thing eat us all?" he asked sarcastically. Kagome shook her head and grabbed the arrow once more. A bright flash of light appeared and when it faded the arrow was gone. A grin appeared on Ranma's face.
