Moon prince: Deathbusters or bust [Episode 7798]

1. He was Ranma Saotome still. That was this life and that was who he primarily was.
2. He was also Prince Ran, firstborn of the Moon Kingdom. From Ran he got a sense of nobility mixed with his pride. He also had a sense of responsibility and honor - Serenity had impressed him with that much at least.
3. He was engaged to most of the Senshi through a variety of means, notably Artemis pulling a prank on him.
4. This was not a typical Nerima fight. Lots of people could die if he screwed up or failed to take this seriously from the start.
5. Prince Ran had been trained extensively by that old soldier, Basalt - the Knight Of Duty. Added to his knowledge of martial arts as Ranma was information on group tactics and professional soldiering.

Then he was there, lending his own strength. He could feel their surprise but gratitude as he used his new connection to them and the Silver Millenium power source.

They felt his strength and determination, and from that were able to renew their own strength. He became the pillar that they could find support from. They felt the shape of his soul in that linkage and drew from that masculine vague familiarity some comfort.

Ranma likewise felt the girls as they came to strengthen each other and support his unfamiliarity with this sort of battle. The cool but caring intellect of Mercury. The fiery swirl of passion that was Mars. The upbeat dedication of Venus. The combative nurturer- Jupiter.

As they shielded the area from the hordes of daimon and contained the evil, they knew each other in a wordless way, weathering the forces that would otherwise have overwhelmed them.

Inside, Pharoah 90 manifested. Hotaru Tomoe faced Mistress 9. Eventually, even as Ranma and the Senshi were ready to drop from exhaustion, Pharoah 90 was defeated by the now-cleansed Sailor Saturn, but Saturn was turned into a child.

However, things turned a bit different again when:

• the equally exhausted Senshi and Ran get to talking.
• baby Saturn ends up with Ranma to be raised?!
• Saturn ended up not quite that young. Why does she keep calling Ranma sempai?
• the Senshi might be exhausted but they get a good look at Ranma in his white armor and - hubba hubba.
• Sailor Pluto shows up and explains the engagement. Does a 10,000 year old promise by a Queen carry any weight against a promise of two drunk martial arts masters 20 years ago.
• something else
