All those planes and timelines, diverging and merging, just to diverge again...
Why, it could almost be...alive.
Well actually, there really weren't any "almosts" about whether it was alive or not, any more. Not after...Certain Incidents.
The more pressing problem was whether it was sentient. (In a way that was understandable to such beings as the Observer, of course. Otherwise it wouldn't even be worth worrying about, really. Or so this Observer thought, anyway...)
Such a big, big Multiverse.
Why..almost anything could be happening in there. Almost anything at all...
