A nymph spoke up. "Ah, here's the thing, her heart belongs to no one, and she hates him as much as she hearkens to him. Put her into a sleep in a crystal coffin, with the signs proclaiming that only her True Love who doth love her completely and without doubt or rival can awaken her with a kiss. Ranma will try but fail, for his own heart is not without doubt. The swordsman hath rivaled affections, and so shall not awaken her."
"With a punishment for those who try and fail? Guardians have been done before," pointed out an old elf.
"Nay," said the nymph. "Let it be that those who fail shall fore'er more forsake the lass - the ashes of their regard for her growing cold."
"Another suggestion," began the old elf. "She draws the attention of males o'er much. Yet what has she to draw them? A simple glamourie about her and those that view her will now see her as loathsome and repellant. While she does not change physically, they shall see her worst qualities and not her best."
"She has many issues," stated a satyr. "Why not see what happens if those issues were resolved? One thing is that she feels overshadowed by those around her. If she were so powerful that she could easily best the strongest around her? Or take on whate'er their best qualities be?"
