"First, the fiancee whose family he stays with woke him up with an insult and a cold bucket of water. Then he was nearly late for school with changing his clothes.
"After a day of barely concealed hostility directed at him from many of those in his school, this Chinese girl grabbed at him in the school yard. Again the fiancee named Akane used a bucket of water - changing him again to female and the Chinese girl into something his father drove him insane with fear about years ago. Hence this chase scene wherein this fiancee tries to seperate the cat from the girl and used that spatula - slicing open the shirt and cutting open the tender breast flesh underneath. The bucket-wielder shows her compassion by repeatedly throwing blunt objects at the former-boy and shouting insults, the spatula-user repeatedly tries to bash the cat or the girl, the cat clings on despite being the cause of much of this, and it is made much sport of by all that watch."
"Oberon, any mischief we can do to the boy seems a mere patch on what's already happening to him," pointed out a satyr. "I think I speak for the others in that we're all fond of mischief when someone's not looking, but kicking at them when they're down already is nae fun."
"The boy isn't just down, O'Shaunessy, he's in a pit," said a nymph. "Look at where he sleeps under yon bridge - having managed to say the wrong thing and make the situation e'en worse now. The fiancee whose call on his heart is the strongest has told him that she wishes that she'd never heard of him - aye - even that she wishes him dead and gone from her life."
"Tis bad," agreed Oberon. "Look you in her own heart. She loves him. She also hates him. He is a threat to her own fears and pride, yet there is much in him that she covets herself and feels drawn to. Love and hate are both attractants and both are present. Within him it is more love and resentment."
"He has stepped upon a dark path, like that Akuma fellow," pointed out a gremlin. "To use one's life force and seek another's death - the 'dark hadou' I think it called. In this setup, I see that dark path dominating the lad's future. Eventually his innocence will die and he will revel in the pain and humiliation of his enemies. And then their deaths."
Oberon nodded. "So we are agreed. This is a case where our mischief can actually be of benefit."
A wizened elf spoke up. "I have just viewed this lad's life with my magic. Tis like seeing how many times one can beat up a cripple, oft in the same manner. The boy is nae clever enough to find a way out on his own, and his tormentors be no inclined to assist him."
Oberon looked at the faerie revel around him. "Shall we start then? Let us-"
