And then the lot started to talk.
Ukyou brought up her binoculars but grumbled as soon as she realized that the language being spoken was English. And why wouldn't it be? She knew Ranma was born and raised in Ireland and the others looked American. Still, it was very irritating, mostly because she couldn't lip read English save a couple of words.
Which meant she'd have to get closer if she wanted to hear anything. And that was a risk, fortunately they were on the downwind side of the cave in, and close to the trees. She could get fairly close if she was careful.
She crept forward quietly.
"...have to do with my trance?" the human with cat-ears asked as her and the human came to the edge of the forest. The blonde human had finished bandaging Ranma and the three weres were now looking for clothes for the girl.
"I'd like to say no," Gina said. "But it fits so far. Hakken is what the Japanese werewolves are called, and that girl may sound as Irish as the other wolves, but she's Japanese."
"And she said she was attacked by a friend," Brianna said.
"Yeah, betrayal will spill the Hakken's blood," Gina said. "If this is your trance thing, then the next part will be coming soon."
"The part where all the werefolk on both worlds go bonkers and start killing each other off," Brianna said with a shiver.
