Tugging on her baseball cap's brim, she tried to figure out what new weirdness was going on within.
"SON HOW COULD YOU DO THIS?!" roared Genma.
"HOW DARE YOU JILT MY DAUGHTER LIKE THIS?!" roared Soun Tendo.
"Biiidah," answered Ranma, hanging from his tail as he tossed a shiny gold ball up and down.
"That's it!" Yuka said. "That's one of the dragonballs!"
"Yup," said Ranma, tucking it into his shirt.
"What's a 'dragonball'?" asked Soun.
Nabiki got suddenly very interested. "Yuka? You're dressed like Bulma from 'Dragonball' and carrying a dragonball-radar? Ranma's Son Goku including the cloud? That means -"
"Does it mean I can have the pretty little ball?" asked Yuka.
"What does it mean?" asked Akane.
"It means... I'm still working on that, other than Saotome wasn't the only one affected," said Nabiki as she flipped through a manga.
"Yuka? You look... different," observed Akane.
Nabiki flipped a few more pages. "Uh oh. Saotome. Do NOT look at the full moon. Absolutely not. Abso... a wish?"
"What?" Akane asked, trying to read over Nabiki's shoulder now.
"Gather all seven dragonballs and get a wish," Nabiki said, eyes glittering as she stared at the lump in Ranma's shirt. "ANY wish. Unlimited wealth for example."
"A wish got us into this mess, a wish can unite the two families!" declared Soun.
"Unlimited wealth?" asked Genma.
"Ya ain't touching my balls," Ranma told Soun as the Tendo patriarch pounced and Ranma bounced out of the way.
"I must have that!" declared Soun.
"Gotta catch 'em all?" asked Kasumi.
"Nuh-uh!" declared Ranma as he bounced out of the way and dashed between his father's legs. He only paused long enough to kick his father in the rear and into Soun. "Bye bye!"
