Just as soon as this stupid rain shower passed. It promised to be short and sweet, but getting wet wasn't in his plans. Fortunately, he'd been able to find this bridge and duck under it before the rain started. Now he just had to wait out the storm, and then he could be on his way. the time until then was going to be boring, but then again, he was used to it. It wasn't like he had lots of people to join him wherever his stupid sense of direction took him.
That meant he'd just have to sit and wait, keeping himself occupied. The space didn't look to have much in the way of ammenities. In fact, the only thing that was down there was... another person?
"Ummm... Hello?" hesitantly called out Ryouga to the other person under the bridge.
The figure looked up,and it turned out to be Ranma in girl form, looking like she had just lost her best friend. "Oh hi P-chan," she said, but it sounded automatic. Like it had been said out of habit, rather than having been meant.
"Ranma, what are you doing here?"
"Thinking," she replied.
The Lost boy frowned. something in her expression looked odd. "About what?"
"Stuff."
"Are you under here because of the rain?"
"Nah," the redhead say with fake cheer, "do't have to ever worry 'bout that."
"What are you talking about?"
"I ain't gonna change again. Ever."
"How?"
Ranma gave a thin smile. "I went shoppin' for a gift for Ucchan's birthday and got some water from Jusenkyo."
"What?! You did what?!"
She shrugged. "I'd tell ya how ta get there if I knew how. It's not gonna help me anyway."
"Don't be silly. It could cure us!"
"You? Maybe. Me? Not anymore. I got the water and poured over my head already."
"But then why are you still a girl?"
"I'm always going to be a girl. It was Permenance Water."
"Oh Hell..," breathed Ryouga.
"Ya got that right. Never gonna have ta change again. Looks like you won, Pig-boy."
"Won what?"
"Everythin'. Ya think I'm gonna be able to marry any girl now?"
"Stop talking like that!"
"What d'ya think I'm gonna do?"
"First, we've gotta... Ranma have you been drinking?"
Smiling broadly, Ranma held up a bottle of cheap sake. "My old man's got a drink stash over by where Doc Tofu's office used ta be."
"Damn it Ranma, you're plastered!"
"What's it ta ya?" barked Ranma, weaving as she tried to stand up.
"You're drunk, that's what!"
Ranma took a step towards the Lost Boy and:
