"You're sure about this?" the elderly man asked the figure in his office.
"Positive," said Obsidian. "Kid needs all the help he can get, and him and Jonny and Hadji were friends-like. Figured you might find reasons to keep an eye on him."
Doctor Quest nodded. If the bit about the moon kingdom was correct, then Ranma was safeguarding some girl who was destined to be like some returning King Arthur. Keeping tabs on and evaluating the situation behooved him and his own allies if there was even a slight chance of that being true. "I'll see what I can do. What about you?"
"Ya do that," said Obsidian, stretching. "Me? If I show up, it'll give ol' Redeyes the shivers and you don't want to see the almighty Guardian Of The Time Gates jumping at shadows. I was never good at court stuff anyway."
Doctor Quest watched the man go and then lifted the phone. Many calls to make, and resources to gather.
"AAAA!" said Sailor Moon as she faced the yoma in Naru's store.
Tuxedo Kamen drew a breath to make his introductory speech.
BRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAP! went an assault rifle as Ranma began a little something called covering fire.
"YEEP!" said Sailor Moon, who just plain wasn't ready for bullets to start flying during a magical girl battle.
"Sailor Moon, ya called yourself? While I keep the yoma busy, get your attack ready!"
"B-b-b-but..." stammered Sailor Moon.
"Bullets don't hurt me," declared the yoma as soon as the attack was over. She looked up and saw the hand grenade falling towards her. "This on the other hand..."
"-is called a distraction," said Ranma.
"Moon Tiara Action!" tried Sailor Moon.
The yoma shattered into dust.
Sailor Moon turned towards her savior.
"You really need to work on that. THAT was a wimpy yoma. You also need to find the rest of the Senshi and the Princess," said Ranma. "First though, I want to schedule meeting you tomorrow after school. You need to understand how to fight, something of tactics and strategy. Learning how to fire from cover would be a BIG help."
"Uhm," said Sailor Moon. "
