Actual aliens were coming to Earth, for reasons unknown. He sighed and laid down on his back. Tucking his hands behind his head, he stared at the slow moving dots. He had seen the telescopic shots that were aired on television earlier. Massive, deadly looking ships had moved into the system. Smaller, almost tiny ships had left the larger ones and explored the entire solar system in a matter of hours.
The larger ones had looked like arrow heads. One only had to think about how long it would have taken to create just one of the gargantuan things in order to have thier mind boggled. To realize that there were twenty identical ships suggested that it was part of an organized fleet.
As for the smaller ones, looking like tennis balls with plates attached to the sides, many were openly speculating that they were fighters or scout ships of some kind. Since there were no open displays of weaponry, a small portion of the U.N. still held out in hope of a peaceful contact. The majority, though, were telling the world to prepare for war.
Thinking of all he had already gone through, he had wanted a little piece and quiet for a change. Saffron had just happened last month. Herb wasn't too far beyond that. Then all the regular craziness in his life kept him from seeking any sort of solice at all. No, with this alien invasion thing going on, his life really sucked.
ranma
It was like a whisper that he barely heard. Tilting his head to the side, he closed his eyes in order to concentrate better on his hearing.
ranma
There it was again. His eyes shot open and automatically focused on one of the alien ships.
Ranma
That was it! He was almost giddy with excitement. Keeping his eyes focues on the bright point of light, he tried to imagine pushing his thoughts toward it. He didn't know where he got the idea from, it just showed up like in some of his battles where he just knew what his opponent would do next. 'Um... yeah?'
I have been sent to collect you. It concerns your father.
Fighting the urge to bang his head into the Tendo roof, Ranma let loose a loud groan of frustration. It just figures, doesn't it? Not only a mess of fiance's here on Earth, but the old man sold him to aliens too. 'So whose daughter do I gotta marry now and how much was I sold for this time?' The boy pushed his thoughts outward with a weary sigh.
???
For some reason, Ranma had the sudden picture of a very large sweatdrop appearing in his mind.
