"You're trying to create global peace and goodwill towards furry animals?" Nanami exclaimed, staring wide-eyed at the pink sticker on the contraption Ranma had built, which proclaimed just that. She had followed him to his lab, hoping to surprise him with lunch, free of charge... but Nanami never expected to see-- "And you're actually using a washing machine with speakers to do it?" she blurted out, her right eyebrow developing an uncontrollable twitch.
Ranma nodded, projecting seriousness from his posture. "This is just the prototype, so I can't do much with it... but once I show it at the upcoming science fair, all the sponsors would be persuaded to donate funds to create more copies." His eyes misted, and he ran a hand over the smooth surface of his machine. "Eventually, every household in Japan will have one. First, Japan... tomorrow, the world!"
Nanami interrupted her friend before he could erupt in megalomaniacal laughter. "Wait a sec. Are you telling me this is a brain-washing machine?"
He grinned proudly. "My best invention to date!"
Momentarily stumped, Nanami decided....
