Gendo stared, his cool completely blown. It was Yui. As an Evangelion sized catgirl. Worse, it was Yui as a giant catgirl Z-Warrior.
Yui Son, Z-Warrior (Young Gohan), Level 1
Before Gendo and the remaining techs eyes, Yui began to levitate as a mysterious wind picked up in the EVA cage, then spun her around as a set of garments began to phase into existence upon her well sculpted body.
First, was a pair of midnight purple pants and blue undershirt, followed by a matching sleeveless shirt, then a red sash and matching wristbands. These were topped off by a pair of black boots.
As the new Yui idly inspected her now spiky, unruly brown hair and matching brown cat tail, Gendo could only shake his head in disbelief while muttering about how unfair all of this was turning out to be.
Ichiro, Nijiro, and Sanjiro all looked at each other then Yui, before pulling out three flasks of sake and pouring them out.
"Last time I'll ever drink anything stronger than beer...," muttered Ichiro.
"Amen to that," spoke Sanjiro.

Laying on top of the roof of the Hinata Inn, Rei Saotome's eyes flew wide open, her sixth sense blaring red in alarm as it picked up a humongous aura suddenly flaring up from the direction of NERV, only minutes after a similar feeling of danger almost halted her making out with Megumi. Slowly slipping out from under Megumi, so as not to awaken her, the pigtailed cat-girl stood up and gazed in the direction she had felt the second aura.
".....I better inform the others," noted Rei Saotome.

Having finished a short kata designed to test one's limits, Yui walked over to the catapults, then looked up into the launch tunnel.
"Ichiro-san?" Yui directed, her expression hardening into a look of grave determination.
"Um-m-m-m yes Ikari-san?" Ichiro replied, shivering at the intense feeling of power and death the giant Neko-Saiyajin seemed to radiate.
"I'm ready. Send me up."
Blinking, Ichiro nodded, inputting the necessary commands, before giving a shout.
"LAUNCH EVA!!"
Gendo started going into a twitching fit, debating whether he should shoot Ichiro for acting without authorization, or lock himself in his office while downing aspirins, antacids, and sake.
