"Can you try again?" Sabrina asked.
"We've tried, the line seems off the hook," the operator said in an apologetic tone. "Would you like to try another number?"
Sabrina's eye twitched as she grumbled and debated whether or not to call her mother, wait for Richard to get home, or else walk back to the Denny's and get change for one of her bills.
And just what the hell had happened to Zig Zag?
