The Eternal Question: To Have Sex With Your Father, or to Turn Into a Wanted Criminal Lookalike? [Episode 822]

by Final-Fan

Ranma thought fast. The situation was quickly worsening, and if she didn't do anything it was going to be bad with a capital BAD. She could explain the resemblance to Sextome later, but she needed hot water NOW.

Fortunately, one of the most important lessons she had learned from her father was How to Stall for Time.

"HEY!" Ranma yelled, just to make sure she had everyone's attention. "I'm not doing anything with anybody until we sit down and have some tea. Kasumi always said that a lot of people's problems could have been avoided if they'd all stopped to talk things over and have a cup of tea."

"What a good idea," Nodoka agreed, "umm...I don't believe I know your name, dear? And by the way, why would being tamed by Genma-dearest be sick?" Everyone looked at Ranma expectantly, who in the meantime had managed to set up a campfire, and by some small miracle already had a blaze going and a water-filled kettle over it.

(Author's Note: I said it was remarkable, didn't I? Do not question the availability of water around Ranma.)

"Call me Ranko for now," the redhead replied. "As for the rest, I'll explain it all once I show you a secret."

After a minute or two of uncomfortable silence, Soun broke it with, "Well?! What's this big secret?"

Ranma replied, "Well, it really needs to be demonstrated, and to show it to you, I need hot water. That's what I really wanted when I insisted on tea. In fact," here she dipped her hand in the water of the teakettle, "it's almost warm enough."

Ten seconds later, she upended the kettle over her head, and felt the change take place.
