Ranma Saotome, son of the late Genma Saotome a minor noble (She had admit, the idea of Genma as a noble was amusing) he was engaged to a one Akane Tendo daughter of Soun who was, surprise, another minor noble. The engagement never went through however, Ranma having received an education, combat skills that matched his pervious incarnation (If missing some training and techniques) as well as some people skills simply up and left before even meeting his bride-to-be. She wasn’t sure of the reasons or how he came to piracy, but she could find out another time. The death of the new Genma was as amusing as his new life. He choked on his fish one night as his wife displayed her new undergarments while dining.
Ranma’s number one and right hand was Nell Noh, a lovely and busty long haired blonde beauty complete with a little mole that seemed to add to her looks that detract from them. Nell worked for the galaxy police for a number of years; however it was her looks, not skills that gained attention. She simply grew tired of old and lecherous bosses trying to gain ‘favors’ and left, meeting Ranma a few months later. Of the crew she was one of the most calm and level-headed on board, had an unusually cheery personality tempered with strategy skills and a business woman’s savvy. She normally wore a purple jumpsuit that was skin tight and showed enough cleavage to entice, but not enough to seem un-lady like. She often piloted their ship being the main pilot as well as second in command, but doubled as a weapons officer. She also seemed to have rather good luck.
Sami Topaz was considered to be, by the crew, the third highest ranked officer on board and wore a forest green pilot’s suit that was fairly loose and a red headband. Where as Nell was long haired and busty, Sami was nearly flat-chested and had short auburn hair. She was much like Nell in the strategy department, to the point the she and Nell often played chess and discussed various tactics for varying situations. She often kept her cool, but was easily angered if the right buttons were hit. She did have some control over her anger though, and it was often put to constructive (Or destructive) uses. She was a former solider, but Setsuna didn’t know how she came to be with the Hunters. She had hand-to-hand skills was second to Ranma’s, but she was trained far better in guns and other firearms. If it was a gun, she could fire it with high accuracy. She was considered the Pandora’s security officer.
Sonja Florence was between Sami and Nell in cup-sizes, but not on book smarts. Her dark brown hair was pulled back into two pigtails (Unbraided) and she often wore a blouse and green jacket with a long green skirt and military hat. Sonja was the computer expert and science officer knowing subjects from geometry to physics, robotics, biology and almost a dozen other subjects. She often doubled as the doctor and could be found working in the lab/sick bay. She was nearly as calm as Nell but tended to lose her confidence in a crisis. Regardless she was a trustworthy teammate. (Although you’d need to pull her nails out to make Sami admit that) She was the daughter of a high ranking General who looked to enter into the military as well. Although she got a job in intelligence, she never truly got far, her own father holding her back to ensure none of the dangerous jobs were placed on her or she learned any information that might make her a target. Her father’s over protectiveness eventually drove her out of the military. Afterwards she met, and somehow became a member of, the Fortune Hunters. Her bad luck often balanced out Nell’s good luck.
The next member was Jessica (Just Jess she’d tell everyone) Evergreen. Her red hair was cut in a very short boyish manner and she wore a green military jacket and pants. Underneath she wore a blouse and a red tie. She was, in looks and manner, a grade-A tomboy, down to the underwear. (How Sonja found out Jess wore boxers is a question best left unanswered) She was by far the most calm and unshakable person on board, seemingly void of emotions. She did have them however, and tended to get great amusement out of Sami and Sonja’s bickerings. She was the primary weapons officer and backup pilot and a technician as well which made up for her lack of conversational skills. In addition she was often the one to pilot any craft other that the Pandora they came across, and often piloted the Pandora itself.. She often tended to come off as cold and uncaring, but the whole crew knew she did in fact care, somewhat. No one except Ranma knew how Jess came to join the Hunters.
Lastly was what Sonja refers to as the ‘required mad genius’ a spot filled in by Lash. No one had any other name for the black afro haired girl who looked all the age of fourteen. With black lipstick, a black tank top that exposed her tummy, black shorts and a long black lab/trench coat Lash looked more like a little kid playing ‘Dr. Frankenstein’ than an actual genius, but in fact she had built the Pandora itself nearly from the ground up. As her personality went, well, she scared her own teammates. Capable of creating a weapon capable of crippling battleships, then acting like a seven year old the next, then making a hand held cannon, before taking her afternoon nap, Lash tended to astound, creep out, surprise, freak, startle, and amaze all her crewmates and make them wonder where her sanity went. Setsuna didn’t want to know how or why Lash became who she is, or how she got to her position. Lash’s official title was ‘Chief Engineer’. It sounded better than mad scientist.
And all six crew members ran a ship large enough to carry a crew of fifty, as per Lash’s original design, however the Pandora was, seemingly at least, better than state of the art. The ship’s hull was made of Lash’s specially made ‘Lash Amour’ an unknown alloy tougher than anything the Galaxy Police and most militaries had access to, as well as top of the line scanners, sensors and probes. Also on board were four shield generators that often took the shots in place of the hull. A cloaking device allowed the Pandora to sneak by areas rather than blow through areas, although it took several moments to get the cloak to work, and was impossible to do if the weapons were firing, or if they were being fired at. It could move at the speeds of interceptors, but had enough firepower to go toe to toe with a Juraian tree ship. In fact it DID go toe to toe with a tree ship. The ships generation was unknown, but the battle ended in a tie, both ships sustaining moderate damage and the tree ship seemingly losing before the Pandora fled as other ships approached. It had a range of weapons ranging from lasers, to particle cannons, torpedoes, missiles, a heavy beam cannon and whatever Lash threw together that week. It only had one storage bay and one shuttle bay, but they were fairly large, and the shuttle saw little use anyway.
The Fortune Hunters themselves had been in operation for two and a half years. They had raided from several governments, keeping some ‘unofficial’ ties to a few others, and were considered the bane of the Galaxy Police’s existence. The price on the head of Ranma alone could ensure a bounty hunter a nice long retirement. If one could bring the entire crew in...
That said, Ranma’s current situation was...
