Computers multitasked. Not all of them did this particular job well. The symbiont was at least fair in this regard.

Having accessed the weave of magic and followed its permutations, the symbiont had discovered a 'knot' in the flow of reality. Extending fields in that direction had allowed it to perceive that the 'knot' was some kind of access connection. It had then continued to try accessing that connection to determine what was on the other side.
Password invalid. Access denied. Connection terminated.
It had determined there was some source of power involved. There was a potential threat until the access could be identified. So the symbiont continued to play with access and had determined that a 42 digit long passcode written in hexcode was necessary.
Password accepted. Welcome to Yggdrasil Niddhog Access Point, Lachesis.
While doing three other tasks, the symbiont started contacting this other system and inquiring as to what was going on. Upon being attacked by a "dead scream" - the priorities were reassigned.

Sailor Pluto sighed in relief as the explosion sent up smoke and debris in a plume. Crystal Tokyo was safe. The enemy was...
The smoke cleared, the armored form of the enemy stood there wreathed in golden fire as the armor seemed to mutate further into red and gold.
Fshhhhh-shish-shish-shish-shish-shish-
Worse was the way the glow caused the ground to collapse in a perfectly formed dome-cap shape.
"Everyone, strike now!" Sailor Pluto called out. "dead scream."
"Submarine Reflection!"
"World Shaking!"
"Silence Glaive Surprise!"
"Burning Mandala!"
"Jupiter Oak Evolution!"
Sailor Mercury checked her readouts. "That field just absorbed 100% of the energy of the attacks. Now it's... oh no. DUCK!"
"Huh?!" Most of the Senshi looked at where Mercury was heading for the pavement.
Arkangel observed how Divine Shield had absorbed the attacks and converted them to an energy form that could be utilized or stored. Possibility of additional attack was high, plus the excessive amount of energy needed to be discharged. Another request was sent.

Arkangel initiated the energy conversion/transfer.
"Space Sword Blaster," tried Uranus even as Mercury was en route to the pavement and calling for everyone else to do the same.
Everyone had enough time to blink at the prone Mercury before the color surrounding Arkangel shifted. From gold to electric blue to pure blinding white.
The shockwave hit first, a pressure wave as the combined force of two "dead scream", one "submarine reflection", one "world shaking", a "space sword blaster", an "oak evolution", a "burning mandala", and one "silence glaive surprise" were converted and released.
The shockwave itself was a result of containing and converting the energy. The force was similar to being on the receiving end of one of Ryoga's punches.
That was followed immediately by the remainder of the force. As it was omnidirectional, much of the energy was expended without encountering a target. As it was holy energy, the grass and flowers immediately straightened and sent forth new blooms under the influence.
To the Senshi however this was something altogether different, even as they were flying from the shockwave. It was Sailor Moon's own attack being used against them. It cut through defenses and slammed into and through their conscious minds.
Arkangel assessed the threat potential of the fallen Senshi. Currently negligible.
Thou shalt not suffer a witch to live.
Arkangel paused as earlier references than the King James were accessed. The original line involved poisoners? These were not poisoners as far as could be told. Indication from other sources was that these were heroes. Killing them was not an option. Allowing them to attack later was also not an option.
Arkangel pondered at its ultrahigh processing speeds and came up with the potential solution:
