"Huh?" Ranma mumbled while still in her dazed state after being awoken didn't include being thrown out of the window by a overweight panda, or being splashed by an irate tomboy. Wiping away the sleepiness from her eyes, Ranma looked back up at the girl in front of her with still no recollection of who she was. "Oh, I'm fine Kagome," Ranma said quickly before waving the girl off while trying to...
... wait, 'I'm fine Kagome'?
Where in the heck did that come from?
"Are you sure?" Kagome asked after leaning down and feeling the other girl's forehead with concern. They had ran into a small band of demons last night on their way back to the village, and while they weren't something that troubled Inuyasha or the others, the battle had taken place in the cold rain. Kagome didn't want her friend getting sick on her or anything.
Meanwhile, as the girl continued to check over Ranma, the other girl just sat there, almost dazed.
Kagome, that was definitely the girl's name. Just looking at her helped to bring up about a dozen different memories of experiences of them traveling together, Kagome shooting some kind of magic arrows, both of them ridding on the back of a... a... big furry thing with two tails that looked on fire that was definitely not a cat -it had two tails after all, cats don't have two tails- and her and Kagome hotsprin-"GAH!"
Kagome let out a little shriek when her friend let out a sudden cry right in her face and fell back on her rear while Sango just jumped to her feet. "What? What is it?" she exclaimed while Sango was up on her feet and rubbing her temples.
Do not want to remember that, do NOT want to remember that do... wait, just how AM I remembering that? Ranma demanded her brain now that she was fully awake. On the other side of the hut(?) Ranma heard Kagome ask her a question and quickly tried to regain her senses. "It's-It's nothing," Ranma lied to her friend before giving the girl a nervous laugh. Then she quickly realized that she really did consider this girl a friend, and shivered for a moment at just how creepy having someone else's memories and experiences in her head.
Or, do I have that backwards? Ranma thought when she turned towards the door and saw the long back hair flash across her face. With a quick look down she saw that something was definitely wrong with the proportions of her body. "I, uh, just think I need to go get some fresh air."
It was then that the inventible occurred.
"Kagome," a young man dressed in blue robes said as he stepped into the doorway to block Ranma's path. "I thought I heard a scream."
"Well uh, that was me," Kagome said with a bit of hesitation and embarrassment. "Sango just startled me is all. Or, I startled her and then she startled me. I think she may be sick or something."
"Really? Let me feel," the monk, Miroku -yes that was his name, according to Ranma's strange memories anyway- said. There was also something else about him that seemed to be just on the tip or Ranma's mind, but she just couldn't quite think of it. It was something about his hand.
However, before Ranma could try and dig deeper into this strange phantom memory that she had, a certain, and familiar, pressure was felt on his rear.
"That's not what we had in mind," Kagome said with a frown while Miroku continued to run his uncursed hand along Sango's rear. At least Sango looked about ready to grab that giant boomerang next to her and teach the perv a lesson. Although, she did seem a bit more agitated than usual for some reason.
