Shippou sat on the grass as he watched InuYasha draw out the Tetsusaiga and transform the rusty katana into the larger sword. At the same time, Kirara had changed shape to the larger, fiercer one.
The young fox youkai had no idea what they were doing. It looked like InuYasha is concentrating on something while Kirara looked prepared to fight. After waiting for a few moments, the hanyou stood up, satisfied. "That's enough for now. Thanks, Kirara." 'I think I'm getting the hang of finding the Wind Scar.'
"What was that for? It seemed like a big waste of time," mumbled Shippou.
"Keh!!" InuYasha placed the Tetsusaiga back in the sheath while Kirara changed back to her smaller form.
He paused when his dog ears picked up Kagome's faint shriek. "Kagome?!?" He made his way back to the village as fast as he could.
"Hey!! Wait up!!" Kirara transformed again and Shippou leapt on to the cat youkai's back.
As InuYasha got closer to the village, he could hear Sango shouting something. "KACHU TENSHIN AMAGURIKEN!!!" The sounds of someone being beat up with Miroku's shouts of pain followed shortly. The hanyou simply stood there and wondered what crawled up Sango's hair and died. Even if the lecherous monk tried something, she would only whack him a few times. She must really be in a bad mood to go all out. At least it seems like she's going all out. InuYasha had no idea where this "Kachu Tenshin Amaguriken" technique came from. Perhaps she had other extensive martial arts training included with her normal tai-jiya training.
"What's happening in there?" asked Shippou. InuYasha didn't even notice his arrival with Kirara.
Before he could reply, Sango stepped out of the hut, with a disturbingly calm look. She paused to regard the trio for a moment before addressing them. "InuYasha. Shippou. Kirara. Good morning. If you excuse me, I need some air."
He had considered following her but first, he had to check on Kagome. The hanyou stepped into the hut. "What happened in...here?"
Shippou had hopped off of Kirara to follow InuYasha into the hut. He grimaced when he saw what happened to Miroku. "It looks like Miroku went up against a thousand youkai and got horribly beaten!!
Kagome gave the best explanation that she could. "Miroku wanted to check up on Sango and also got in a grope. She looked agitated before she shouted that phrase and pounded Miroku. I don't know how many times she hit him but it was a lot! Then she stormed out of here."
Miroku let out a tiny "Ouch..."
