"See what?" Hsien-Ko asked, "I was in that coffin for so long I'm not sure of anything I'm seeing."
"You don't have a digestive system," Felicia muttered remembering her mad dash for the restroom after being let out of the box.
"Please," Luna said. "Both of you."
"I felt a power like Pyron's flare nearby," Mei Ling said, shaking her head. "That is a sign of dark times to come. Are you sure this charge of yours is safe?"
"Depends on what you mean," Artemis said. "And even then it depends on the situation. She normally does everything she can to protect people."
"But she may have lost control," Hsien-Ko said.
"And if that were the case," Luna said. "She'd still be on a rampage. And there were many powers in the area."
"Light, order, chaos and darkness," Mei Ling said. "Easy to read, a battle of the opposites, as they have always done."
"Not always," Luna said.
"Please," Hsien-Ko said. "The last time those powers allied, existence itself was threatened. And even that is only a tale told in the oldest of legends."
Mei Ling stopped for a moment and cricked her neck. She really hated it when her sister said things like that. Sometimes she suspected the other woman had an unconscious gift for prophecy. Like she could see Murphey's Law at work or something.
"So where do you suggest looking for her?" Mei Ling asked Artemis.
"If she's got any sort of control," Artemis said hesitantly. "She'll seek...her Princess."
"Princess?" Hsien-Ko repeated. "The girl into that sort of thing?"
"Minako is reincarnated," Luna said. She was revealing a little bit, but not yet revealing to the two hunters that Minako was senshi and darkstalker both. "And her previous life was a loyal servant to a powerful queen, a bodyguard to the queen's daughter. They were killed in an ancient war. The queen's daughter was also reincarnated and Minako and her are close friends in this life."
"So, where is this princess then?" Felicia asked, not commenting otherwise. It was obvious that her brother and Luna wanted to hold off on revealing the whole situation to the sisters.
"Usagi is not with her family," Luna said. "But I suppose we should start at the temple..."
"Whoa! Temple?" Hsien-Ko said. "I could do without extraneous exorcisms, thank you."
"The shrine maiden of this temple is the daughter of an ifrit prince," Artemis said, laughing nervously.
"What," Hsien-Ko said. "Are you running some sort of darkstalker boarding school?"
"That's what I asked when he told me about all of them," Felicia said. "All three of them." She quickly added...she would have been better off not adding the last bit. It certainly attracted the sisters' attention.
They stared at Felicia's nervous expression and the resigned one on Luna's face before realizing what this entailed. They remained silent as they walked along, however, until they started to near what was obviously the temple, and the new form of it shocked them all.
"How many darkstalker kids are we talking about?" Hsien-Ko asked.
"Eight," Luna said. "Previously dormant, but their powers have been awakening over the last couple of days. And then there's Setsuna..."
"What does the Time Guardian have to do with this?" Mei Ling asked fearing to hear the answer.
"She's...interested in the groups' potential," Luna said. "And I fear to guess at her reaction when she discovers their natures."
"It probably would have been bad," a voice said, coming from a form stepping out of the shadows. The five darkstalkers stepped back away from the sound as they turned to face the sound. "If she'd been given time to ignore her heart for her head."
"A bisan," Mei Ling said, looking over the woman. "She must have been blending with the spirits of the trees around to remain hidden."
Luna and Artemis had a different reaction.
"Setsuna?" Luna gasped. "But you were never reincarnated!"
"The Princess corrected that," Setsuna said. "I am renewed."
"Wait," Hsien-Ko said. "Your Princess reincarnated you into a darkstalker? Isn't your princess supposed to be..."
"Sailor Moon," Setsuna said. "Indeed, if you'd come inside we're all about to confer on what is happening."
"So you've got senshi and darkstalkers sitting together peacefully?" Hsien-Ko asked doubtfully.
"Hsien-Ko," Mei Ling said to her more impatient sister. "The senshi are darkstalkers."
