Marek Norasewski put down his newspaper. He frowned.
“Sometimes I wonder why we can’t sentence these monsters to death.”
His friend Thomas O’Niell shook his head.
“You know that those guys are the lowest of the lowest in prison. He’ll become the fucktoy of some murderer or something.”
Marek grinned.
“Your right that’s worse than death.”
Marek looked back in his newspaper, repeating to read the leading article about the trial against some pedophile, and Thomas went back to playing a VR-game. Neither noticed the slight irregularity in the Phasing-field, as the Guardian started to move Utopia back into phase.
The Guardian had helped the humans of Utopia developing in the way they had developed. He knew that they now were able to disrupt the Alien energy-field that prevented the suns rays to warm earth and re-terraform their homeworld.
As Utopia moves through the phase to its old place on earth’s surface, ripples went through space-time and hit sensors that had been long since forgotten.

In Crystal Tokyo, Lady Amy Mercury stared at the computer-screen in front of her. There was something out there that was powerful enough to change space itself. After all these years it could be the last enemy, the one that had created the energy field that blocked the sun and made earth a ball of ice.

Somewhere other in the Solar System, an ancient being stirred. It had slept the last hundred thousand years to wait. Wait for its old enemy, the Guardian of Space. Had it been able to smile, it would have done it.
It was time for payback.
