The last Peter knew, he had been about to have a fight of some kind with the goblin, then there had been the gas and everything had blacked out, and now, he was listening to the Green Goblin pontificate.
"You, me, the other spider, we're exceptional," the Goblin said. "Between the three of us, we can build something glorious, or we can destroy in pointless combat, again and again and again, is that what you want? Think about it spider!"
And with that the Goblin left the building.
