"Ryoko!"
"Oh, hi Megumi," said Ryoko as she recognized the first of the trio heading towards her. "Find anything?"
"The restaurant's not there, I asked the guys at the apartment complex and it was rezoned for housing back in 1988!" Megumi Mogoi shook her head. "This makes no sense."
"Think that's bad, check this out," said Ryoko as she handed the map over.
"What? HUH? WHAT?" Megumi exclaimed. "I don't recognize any of these. This can't be right."
"This is the right section of Tokyo," said Ryoko. "Thing is, it's the wrong Tokyo."
"Xiao no get it."
"Alternate universe?" Megumi asked Ryoko. "There's no way that runt had enough power to do it. I've met him before. A real magic otaku. Hates violence and violent girls though. Hell, I could knock him out with a finger flick. No way he could be responsible."
"That leaves those girls who attacked us on our arrival," pointed out Asuka. "They obviously were expecting us and attacked before we knew what was going. They underestimated our fighting prowess, but we can't count on that again."
"Those cheerleaders?" Megumi slapped a fist into her other hand. "I knew it!"
"Apparently we'll have to get thems to return us?" Xiao asked. "They attacks us once so maybe we not get much cooperation from them."
"We'll have to make them cooperate," said Ryoko. "They'll send us back or face my righteous blade!"
"Speaking of which, I don't see Mister Kusanagi," pointed out Megumi. "You think he'll be alright?"
"He's too ugly and stupid to die in an alternate universe," said Ryoko reassuringly. "I'm sure he'll do fine."
