Usagi's New Day: Insanely powerful martial artists in a magical girl story? [Episode 85719]

Ami went back over the recording. Yes, there was a spike in the band consistant with Dark General teleportation there when they'd arrived at the park.

So, due to Michiru's intuition and Setsuna's warning, the enemy had arrived just after the Senshi had.

There had been no indication of recognition of any of them, quite the opposite - two had been obviously surprised.

They were experienced though. When they had struck, they had coordinated efforts so that their forces had struck precisely and using combination attacks to increase their attack strength beyond what they could have accomplished individually.

They had also left their opponents stunned and defeated in their wake without so much as an energy drain.

Heroic efforts had fallen flat, Mercury herself had found Sailor Neptune being bodily thrown into her and had lost track of the fight after that. Well, actually, she'd lost track of everything for about a half-hour after that.

Martial Arts skills. Not even a contest. Makoto and Haruka were both skilled, Michiru and Minako somewhat less so, followed by Rei, then there was a substantial gap before Ami put herself with Usagi. Setsuna she wasn't sure of, and Hotaru was better than Usagi but tired quickly.

Ami nodded to herself. A ranged battle was their only chance of success. Going to melee would mean another defeat and who knew what would happen if they were at their opponent's mercy a second time?
