When Ranma got up from exiting the portal, he made a mental note to be more prepared for the exit vortex. He wouldn't want to have another experience flying out of a portal and landing on large chunks of concrete.
"Where am I?" Every single building he saw was either destroyed or crumbling apart. Did Bast send him to the wrong place? He wasn't sure. As soon as he double checks that his house is there and ready for him, then he can start his mission.
He started moving to where his home should be located somewhere in an urban part of another city, west of the one he was currently in when he nearly tripped upon something. It was a robotic hand, holding an odd little ray gun. There were other robotic pieces there with bits of blue and silver on each piece. He didn't see the head though.
About a few hours had passed but he was out of the city borders and was starting to get a little hungry. He almost wished he packed a few snacks along the way.
When Ranma entered the new city, the streets were fairly empty except for the occasional car on the road. 'What is up with this place? Are they afraid that what happened to the other city may happen to them?'
He gave a small smile when he noticed a ramen stand near a park. After sitting down and ordering a bowl, he asked the operator what happened to the other city.
"All I saw was a giant blue light coming out of nowhere. Then boom!! It was crazy, I tell you." The martial artist slurped on his noodles while deep in thought.
"Just who could have levelled that city?" he asked out loud.
"The city's destruction was the result of a test of a powerful weapon called the Zero Cannon. If we hadn't stopped Zero, he would have created his own new order." Ranma turned around to see the person who just spoke.
"Who are you?" asked the boy as he spoke to...
