Bast was ecstatic with her decision. What Ranma needed was someone who would listen to him, not in the form of a nodding head, but someone who would hear him out and at least try to understand him; to trust him. After a moment to select which female would be perrfect for Ranma, Bast set her sights on Felicia. She was kind, gentle natured, perfectly suited for being Brittany's mother figure as well. Not to mention she was also a good fighter and could mother a lot of Were-Smilodons, an added bonus for Bast. Now on to which Felicia. She needed on which was not occupied, not trying to get someone's attention, and in the same age-range as Ranma. Only a split second later and she had the perfect mate for her avatar, not to mention an excellent mother figure to Brittany, and later Brianna who will not know who she is at first, but with Felicia she will have someone who knows exactly what she is going through. "Okay my little kitten, you are going to make one particular cat-man do." Bast chuckles at her own joke and goes off to her chosen cat-girl.
Felicia was occupied at the moment looking for something to eat as she walked along the docks in cat-form. As with many other occasions she wasn't fairing too well. In a brilliant flash of light, which reminded her of the comic book depiction of a boom-tube, a woman appeared. "Well hello there child. Do I have a proposition for you." The woman looked like she could be Felicia's aunt with similar cat-like features and figure. "Okay, what is it." Bast smiled wickedly (but not evilly, just one of those cat-got-the-bird smiles).
After much debating Felicia was more that excited to meet this Ranma, and didn't even mind the fact that he had an addoptive daughter. Okay so at first it was a downside, but after rethinking the idea it could be her way to Ranma's heart. Felicia had it planned out: meet Ranma, get in good with Brittany, and actually get to know him. Do that and he would be hers without question. "Okay. I'm in." Bast was more than just pleased. "Just two last things Felicia. You will eventually need this." Bast handed her a metal baseball bat. "And I hope you don't mind large families." "What for?" Felicia asks being caught totally off guard. "Oh no reason." Bast says as she sends Felicia to her destiny.
