THE BOY IN QUESTION IS NAMED SHINJI IKARI, AND HE HAS JUST SUFFERED AN INJURY THAT LEFT HIM WITH A CONDITION SIMILAR TO YOUR OWN. Death paused, and brought out another small glass egg timer. FINDING HIM WOULD TAKE ALMOST AS LONG AS IT TOOK ME TO FIND YOU, AND THAT WOULD BE UNACCEPTABLE.
"Why, because he needs ta save tha world, or somethin'?" Ramna's personality was reasserting itself.

A series of memories floated into Ranma's head. "I don't know that I can fake bein' someone else."
DO NOT WORRY. YOU WILL HAVE ACCESS TO HIS MEMORIES, AS WELL AS YOUR OWN. YOU WILL NOT BE FAKING BEING SHINJI IKARI, MERELY HIDING THE FACT THAT YOU ARE ALSO RAMNA SAOTOME.
Ranma blinked, and nodded. Lying about who he was could be tricky, and he doubted he could keep a secret for long; but for some reason, he thought he might be able to pull it off.
HERE WE ARE, SHINJI IKARI, OR WHAT'S LEFT OF HIM.
Ranma realized that they had been walking since he had woken up. It was slightly offputting to realize you had been walking for five minutes without actually knowing about it. The boy in front of him wasn't very much to look at, but Ranma was not about to complain to a bony figure holding a scythe.
I WILL END THIS ON A PERSONAL NOTE; IF WE MEET AGAIN WHILE YOU ARE STILL ALIVE, I WILL BE DEEPLY DISAPPOINTED IN YOU, RANMA SHINJI SAOTOME IKARI.
And with that, Ranma Saotome/Shinji Ikari woke up...
