Gina giggled as only a three year old could as she hugged her daddy's leg as tight as she could. "I missed you daddy!"
Julia couldn't keep her patented frown of PAIN on her face when her daughter showed up. Lowering her sword that promised much destruction of a certain idiotic husband, Theo sighed in relief as he picked up his daughter.
Ranma watched the interplay silently, unable to keep a slight pang of regret from echoing in his heart at the warm atmosphere that had come over the small family in front of him. He had often wished for such a family, with a loving constantly present mother and a caring loving father who didn't hold their children to extreme ideals like his own parents had. Despite feeling a little envious of the girl in Theo's arms, he couldn't keep a genuine kind smile off his face at the sight.
Gina looked curiously at her mother, and then she took notice of the two strangers. She didn't say anything though, after all, Mommy always said she shouldn't talk to strangers!
"Julia, Gina." Theodore coughed, though he didn't dare not look cowed for a single moment as he spoke, "This is Ranma Saotome, the young boy I told you about."
"Hello." Ranma bowed as best he could with a baby in his arms.
Julia seemed to stare at the boy for a few moments, causing him to sweat nervously, before she sighed in resignation. Waving her weaponless hand, she said, "Hi." Theo knew he would be having a long talk with his wife in the very near future, and he was damn well sure Ranma would be given a long speech about rules and such, but Theo was extremely glad they had seemingly avoided an ass kicking.
Gina giggled happily before saying perhaps the stupidest thing she could considering the slight tension in the air. "Hi! I'm Gina! Your sooooooooo cute Rannie! Can I hug you like I do Mr. Lion?"
Julia glared at the boy. How dare he corrupt her little girl! He had to be evil!
Theo chuckled nervously. Why did he feel like his punishment for bringing Ranma home was going to be much worse now?
Ranma wondered who the hell just walked over his own grave.
Brittany gurgled in such a way that it sounded like she was groaning.

Bast blinked once. Then twice. Then she chuckled nervously. "Well.. maybe that wasn't the best thing for Gina to say right then.. eh.. heh.. oh boy." While the little girl was only nearing her fourth year, and in all likelihood the statement was just an innocent little girl thing, Julia obviously didn't think so.
"Well Ranma... leave it to you to upset Julia Diggers not two minutes after you met her."
