"Yeah?" Jonathan Diggers was an Aura Mage. His son, god bless his heart, was an Aura Mage. The poor boy had married a hotheaded warrior though, and at times being an Aura mage sucked. Specifically, an Aura mages ability to instantly heal themselves from most damage to their body. This ability was often times considered a blessing to those who utilized it, unless one happened to be married to a woman who wouldn't hesitate to break your limps to get a point across. Then, it just sucked all ass.
"Um.. did I do something wrong?" Ranma asked nervously as the sounds of shouting began rising in volume from the yard. He wasn't sure, but he could swear he heard a cry of pain out there.
Jonathan shrugged as he bounced Gina on his knee, "Not really. Theo did something earlier that he had yet to answer for." Which was true, since he had earlier decided to let Ranma and the baby Brittany stay here.
"Ah, I guess." Ranma shrugged; relieved it didn't appear Theo was fighting his wife because of him.

"Now, Husband, I think it's time we discussed.. " Julia snarled angrily, shaking her husband by the neck as he repaired his broken legs ".. that.. that! That boy who's corrupting our little girl!"
Theodore groaned pathetically. Julia was taking this way out of proportion.

"Eh..." Ranma sweated, staring off against his opponent with a glare. This guy was really good, really really good. As it was, he didn't think he had a chance in hell of beating him. He was too strong, skilled, patient, and he never repeated any attack more then once. "I'll beat him yet!" Ranma snarled mentally.
"Knight takes Rook. Check Mate." Jonathan chuckled at the look of absolute shock and dread on the boys face. It was fun to watch him sweat.
"NOOOOOOOOO"

"Dear, we'll talk to him tonight after Gina and baby Brittany are sleeping." Theo said, standing up from where he had been beaten down into the ground earlier.
"One time Theo! One mistake and I'm tearing his head off and flushing it down the toilet!' Julia snarled, walking into the house.

"I GOT YOU NOW!" Ranma crowed in excitement, slamming his fist on the table. "Check it out! A pair of deuces!"
Jonathan blinked; sweat dropping as he put down his pair of threes. "Eh, I win."
"NOOOOOOOOOO"

Gina stared at the baby curiously. Brittany was crawling across the ground faster then Gina though she had a right too. Hell, she was almost moving faster than she did when she was running!
Brittany gurgled as she crawled up to the nice smelling girl, crawling up into her lap. A small but of drool escaping her lips and pooling on the older girls dress.
Gina smiled good naturedly, "Hi! I'm Gina, want to be friends?" she held out her hand in greeting.
Brittany blinked, unable to respond. She watched the girl for a few moments before pouncing on the offered hand.
"Ewww! Rannie! Brittany's sucking on my fingers! Ewww!" Gina complained as the baby busily sucked on her index finger.

"Focus Ranma. Focus. You can't let him beat you! Your Saotome Ranma! You’re a winner! You don't lose!" Ranma mentally reminded himself as he reached over for one of the remaining two cards in his enemies’ hand. "You know he has it. Just be cool. Be patient!"
Jonathan smirked at the boy, amused by his antics. He couldn't hide his nervousness to save his life, all the boys emotions were plain as day on his face.
Ranma grabbed one of the remaining cards and looked at it. No! It wasn't possible! How could he get the old hag!
"Haha!" Jonathan crowed, putting his final card in the pile. "I win! You old maid!"
"NOOOOOOOOOOO!"
