The three goddesses glanced at each other and nodded. They had apparently decided to give the explanation.
"Ever since Ranma defeated the Eight-headed Orochi in Ryugenzawa we decided to keep tabs on this man." Artemis began explaining to the NWC. "We had also begun to keep an eye on Ryouga but he seemed to unstable for us to find worthwhile."
Athena took up the explanation. "A little while later he defeated Herb, the Prince of the Musk Dynasty. I do not know if you know this Cologne but Herb is a direct descendant of Shen-Long. Shen-Long fathered a child 3000 years ago and even though the blood is diluted Herb was defeated by a pure human in battle."
"These battles surprised us since Ranma was a human, a rather powerful one though, but then came the battle between Saffron and Ranma. You must understand that Saffron was a demi-god on the verge of becoming a full god on Earth. Due to rules by Kami-sama we could not interfere with affairs on Midguard or as you call it Earth." The sun goddess explained. "When he defeated Saffron all Heaven was in shock and awe. A lot of Gods had dismissed humans as weak and insignificant but when Ranma killed Saffron he proved that humanity wasn't weak. The heavens also found themselves owing Ranma a favor."
"So did the regions of Hell." A new voice interrupted.
"Mara, what are you doing here?" Athena asked.
"Hild sent me here after she talked with your boss. I don't know what the Gods did but the Demons did some history research on the life of Ranma after his battle with Saffron. I assume you guys did as well." Mara said and waiting for a nod from the goddesses she continued.
"What he went through just plain disgusted all of us. We may be evil demons and such but almost all of us would not do what Genma did to Ranma. Like I said we may be evil but we would never hurt a child like Genma did. We have limits. It surprises me sometimes when a human is more evil than a demon. What he went through as a child earned our respect." Mara saw the looks of surprise on everyone's faces even the goddesses. "What?! We knew what would have happened if Saffron wasn't stopped. Earth would have been turned into a nuclear wasteland like in the Fist of the North Star manga. We may be evil but we don't want Earth and humanity destroyed. That would be no fun at all.
"Also a lot of demons, including me, have been asking if we could teleport Genma to a deserted island and really punish him." Mara finished with a evil smirk that made the NWC shiver. Genma turned to run but smacked into a force field.
"How interesting. A lot of Gods have been asking the same thing." Amaterasu thoughtfully said.
"Surely you must be mistaken about my husband..." Nodoka started to say.
"Let's see. Here are some videos." Taking them out of subspace Athena started listing them off. "Neko-ken, Ocean-born technique, Touched Soul: a technique where less than 5% survive the training, being chased by wolves in a swamp while carrying Genma on a couch, and venom resistance training. The mental retardation shiatsu and geas spells Genma placed on Ranma. Those are some of the worse ones. Here's some more."
When Happosai heard the words: Touched Soul he lost it. He knew what consisted of that technique's training. His battle aura was full of anger. He never knew the crap Ranma had been put through but if he did he wouldn't have pulled any of the pranks on Ranma that he did.
"Happi, please control yourself." Cologne asked. "I want to kill him also but the punishments are left to the Heavens and Hell. They will punish him worse than we ever could."
"I still don't see what my husband has done wrong." Nodoka said with a lot of puzzlement. She could not see why the gods, demons, and old masters of the art were so angry for.
"Cologne, do you have a VCR and TV?" Mara asked. Cologne nodded.
"Okay people. Time to watch the Genma training Ranma in the martial arts series. I recommend that nobody eats anything." Mara added.
