In an old temple with simple decorations such as a scroll or a holy symbol here and there a woman with long black hair and brown eyes is puzzled. A week ago she had detected a power so great and so evil she shuddered in fear.
Then a day or so ago she had sensed another power equal to the evil appear out of nowhere. To say she was confused was an understatement.
She decided to meditate to have a vision. The vision had just made matters worse. Here is what she saw in the vision.
A man, full of evil, was standing in the shadows as a handsome young man with his hair in a pigtail appeared to challenge him. A roar sounded out and Chizuru's eyes nearly popped out of her head when she saw the largest cat she had ever seen. The large feline came up to stand with the young man. Two fangs from the top of his mouth identified the breed.
A sabertooth tiger. An animal long since dead and gone.
Too her surprise she sensed no evil from the tiger or young man but a power that was comforting and protective.
That had vanished and a hazy vision of a dark-skinned woman appeared and smiled. Then she too had vanished.
The vision ended but the message was clear. The young man was a warrior who will save them all and he was not to be harmed. She blushed a little wondering if he was as good looking in real life as he appeared in the vision. She shook her head and sighed of her lack of a love life to fantasize about a man so much younger than she was.
The danger was clearly the KOF 2001 tournament which NESTS was sponsering. Her eyes fell to the invitation and she knew she had no choice.
She stood up and walked out to visit a few friends and allies to warn them about this new danger and new ally.
