Modi snorted. "How's about I just say that I think that you're an idiot period, and leave it at that, okay?"
"Why you little... As soon as I get free of this lech, I'm going to show you just who's an idiot?!"
"If you do manage to miraculously get free, then attacking me will prove that you're even more of an idiot than I thought."
"ARGH!"
Thrud glanced at the brother holding the Tendo girl. "A lech now are you?"
"Not the last time I checked," Magni replied easily.
"You're grabbing me like this and you don't consider yourself a lech?!" the dark haired human girl barked.
"Uh... no?"
"Than you're the idiot!"
All three gods looked to the girl who was being held far from any place that could be considered perverted in a way so that she wasn't displaying what assets she had to anyone around and tried to figure out what she was talking about. On the other hand, Akane tried to struggle free to little effect, but it didn't matter. She had to get them to tell her the truth, and quickly. This fairy tale of theirs couldn't be possible, since that would make it so that she had killed her fiancee, someone that she had... cared about, but would have prefered getting run over in the street by a semi than to say so out loud. That would mean that after all the times that he had rescued and protected her, she had repaid him by putting him into a position that had resulted in his end. Which she knew couldn't be true since she would never do something like that.
It had to be something else, anything that wasn't some story that put her at fault. Simply because she couldn't deal with it if she had...
So she tried to whack her captor a couple of times and got only a bit of a smirk. "Let me go!"
"Why would I..?" Magni began.
"Let her go," Modi interrupted.
"Huh? Why?"
"The way that I figure it, she'll only understand once we make her. And I for one am looking forward to... pounding it in."
Sif shook her head rapidly. "No! Don't hurt her."
"Eh? Why?"
"Because I'm sure that she didn't mean to do anything wrong."
"Hold on a second," Thrud drawled, "She kills your last incarnation, come here and insults you, and wants to hurt you, but you don't want us to hit her?"
"Yes. I'm sure that what she did to Ranma was just an accident, and she doesn't seem to know what's going on. She's probably just confused and angry. If we can help her get unconfused, then maybe she'll relax and we can be friends."
"Definately like Bell. Really definately like Bell."
"What's that?" the redhead asked.
"Nothing but a compliment."
"Oh good!"
The youngest Tendo just stared at the smiling pigtailed girl and wondered what had happened to her world. Ranma acting nice and generous? That wasn't something that she ever expected, and the redhead was almost... Kasumi-like. It was really unnerving, and she wasn't understanding what was going on.
But as she watched, she saw:
