"Wha happen?" Ranma asked as he regained consciousness.
"You were in an explosion when Doctor Wily kidnapped most of my robots and left you to take the fall. I had hidden a camera to keep an eye on your progress and saw the recording later. You still might not have made it except that Usagi threw you out of the explosion."
Ranma tried to get up. "Where is she? Oooh. Owie."
"Don't move too quickly," advised Doctor Light. "I'm getting my other assistant, Doctor Mizuno, to look you over later."
"That the girl-doctor?" Ranma asked, holding his head.
"That's the one," agreed Doctor Light. "She was only able to add a medical database to the Ami unit though."
"Are you okay, Ranma-oneesan?"
Ranma blinked and focussed in on the source of the voice. "Glad yer okay... WHAT?!"
Usagi's head blinked at him from the pedestal. "What's that matter, Ranma-oneesan?"
"I'm having to upgrade her body, otherwise she won't be much help to you," said Doctor Light. "On the other hand, the emotional feedback learning/response/emulator is working. Now if I could just figure out a good acronym."
"Uh huh," said Ranma, still staring at the bodiless head smiling at him. "That's kinda creepy."
"Ranma-oneesan is mean," pouted Usagi's head.
"You've been out of it while your body healed, so I'll fill you in," said Doctor Light. "Doctor Wily has kidnapped my other robots and reprogrammed them to become his loyal and merciless soldiers, as well as an army of lesser 'cannon fodder' soldiers. If you and Usagi can capture them and return them, I'm sure I can reinstate their original programming. Otherwise they must be destroyed before Doctor Wily can take over the world."
"What? Is he nuts? How can a buncha robots take over the world?" Ranma asked.
"He's currently using them as superpowered criminals to commit crimes and bring him back loot," said Doctor Light. "Don't forget that they all have powers and abilities that make them considerably stronger than simply a group of mercenaries."
"So why do I feel so funny?" Ranma asked.
