Eight long legs reached out and took step after step as they edged forward to obey the command given to them.
The average monstrous spider had virtually no mind, basically being no more than a bundle of instincts. These were not the average sort of spider. They had enough intellect to understand language, if not much, and cooperate at least a little.
There were six in the pack and they had no thought but to kill the people in the restaurant.
