Patience, always patience as Lord Togashi had said on the rare occasions he spoke. It was something Iori had always struggled with, not knowing why until that day, until the memories of another life had surged through him.
Ranma Saotome had the patience of a gnat. Mirumoto Iori had about a squirrels worth in his own opinion. Still something to cultivate, even if the time would come and he had to act, best to act in a way that solved problems rather than make more.
So he watched Hitomi, the little girl that had been full of life and laughter was gone. In it's place rage, rage held back by an iron will.
Still she would at least follow proprietary and congratulate their little brother right?
As Hitomi approached Daini, Iori could see the way Daini's hands dropped near his daisho...and Hitomi mirroring the action. Were they about to fight a duel for the right to rule?
