For almost a decade now, there has been a secret government orginazation, studying the existance and uses of an ancient race of creatures, knows as the Guardian Forces, or GF's for short.
Despite the years of reserch, not much was known about the GF's. While they were capable of taking physical form by themselves, they could only reach their full potential, when they were fused with another being. Few survived the fusion process. Those that did, found their own powers had increased, having been augmented by the GF's own. They found themselves able to tap into the GF's own power, allowing them to do things that most people would consider magical. In times of great danger, they could call upon the GF itself, to aide them in their fight.
However, this power comes at a trade off. When a GF fused with a person, they ended up dwelling in the part of the brain containing the person's memories. Some who have fused with a GF find themselves losing all of their memories up to that point.
Despite the damage done to him by the Neko Ken, both mentally and physically, Ranma's body was able to survive the fusion process. His body strained against the restraints, as the GF was fused with his body. His blood seemed to burn within him, as the power coursed through his veins. Soon, the damage caused by the Neko Ken, had all but been erased as the GF's power remade his body. Gone also was the damage done by the rest of Genma's training.
Unfortunatly, all memories of his 6 years of life were gone, leaving him a blank slate. Perfect for his new commanders. They would have no trouble molding him into the perfect warrior, which he would become, with the assistance of his GF...
