The ditzy clumsy Usagi had just shown a bit of steel as the Princess. "A utopia founded on the blood of innocents is neither a utopia nor something that I shall tolerate, much less rule."
Rei gaped as that "Inner Princess" made an appearance. Usagi was so commanding and mature like that. What a pity it only lasted a minute or so whenever it happened.
Perhaps a direct approach would work. Pluto appeared atop the shrine and quickly moved, knowing where her target would be.
Perfect, he was just entering that cave. One "dead scream" to collapse the ceiling on him, then she could move to the next one.
The boy had a hot sweet potato he was completely focussed on. So much the better.
"dead. scream." Sailot Pluto fired it off and vanished, ready to go on to the next one.
Therefore she missed the old man whose glasses had glinted dramatically as he leapt in front of the mana blast and deflected it off into the woods.
"G-grandpa?!" Tenchi asked as he heard the explosion.
"Now why would some time traveller be trying to murder you, Tenchi?" Yosho asked, though it was obvious he was just musing aloud.
"K-k-kill me?!" Tenchi stuttered, seeing the dust and debris settling out in a cloud from where the blast had been redirected.
Ryoko in her astral form fumed. Who the heck was that to go threatening her Tenchi!
There. Three kids playing in a sandbox near a hot springs resort known as the Hinata Inn.
"I heard," said one of the two girls, "that if two people promise to go to Tokyo University together, they can marry and be happy forever."
"Weally?" said the younger of the two girls.
"Let's promise to go to Tokyo U together," said the young boy, ready to pinky swear with the younger girl.
Pluto's eyes went upward. Perfect. "dead. scream!"
The blast went through two supports, and the scaffolding fell over to crash directly upon the sandlot.
Sailor Pluto teleported away. That was two down.
A section of planks and boards fell away, revealing a bloody and woozy Keitaro Urashima.
"Wow, Kei-kun, you saved us!" exclaimed Mitsumi happily.
"Uh huh!" exclaimed Naru-chan, stars in her eyes. Her hero!
"We can't play here," said Keitaro sadly. "Hey maybe that spooky old building. The annis or whatever. Nobody ever goes there, we can play there!"
The idea of having to lose Naru-chan or maybe Kei-kun put an impish thought in Mitsumi's mind. "Let's all three promise to marry and go to Tokyo U!"
"We can do that?" Keitaro asked, thinking that marrying two girls just sounded wrong somehow.
"It's just pretend," said Mitsumi.
That idea said, the three children went off to play and make promises in the old forgotten Annex. On the way they met a new friend, a little girl named Ami, who thought this all sounded fun.
There he was. Makoto Mizuhara. She'd just eliminate him once and for all. There could be no barriers to Crystal Tokyo.
"Excuse me, Setsuna-chan. Can we talk?"
Sailor Pluto turned wildly around, only to face the Inner Senshi plus Sailor Saturn.
