She turned around and walked over to her desk where her phone was, looking at the broken glass from the mirror, she winced and figured that she'd have to clean that up later. She stepped over the glass lightly, so she wouldn't make too much noise and wake up Grave, and grabbed her cellphone. Flipping it up she dialed a series of numbers as she walked back to the bed and sat down on the side lightly. "Hello? ... Yes I know I'm not there. ... Look, something came up. ... Family related. ... Look, I'll be there as SOON as possible. ... How long? An hour at the most. ... I don't care, pay them overtime. This was important okay? ... Thanks boss, you're the best."
Brianna sighed as she turned off her cell phone. She got off the bed and walked over to the desk again, but this time she grabbed some paper and a pencil.
To Acacia,
I had to take off for a bit.
I'll be right back if you wake
up and I'm not here.
Do NOT leave the room!
Stay inside until I get back.
We can work something out then.
Brianna nodded and put the note on the night stand next to the bed. 'Hopefully Acacia will sleep until I get back.'
The blonde woman knew that she'd be able to get everything that she needed for work, as far as clothes went, at work. She quickly slipped on some shoes and ran out the door, but not before she stopped to take one last look at Grave sleeping so soundly. 'Please, oh PLEASE sleep until I get back.' The blonde haired, cat eared girl prayed to anyone who would listen and then she was out the door.
She ran down the hallways until she got to the kitchen where Gar was. "Say Gar?"
The Jagwere looked up to see Brianna running to the door. "Brianna? What's wrong?"
"Do me a favor. Don't let anyone in my room." She commented as she dug through her purse, which was on a counter-top in the kitchen, for some keys. "I'll be back in an hour or so. See ya!"
"Wait! Brianna!" Gar cried out as he got up from his chair and ran to the door, but by the time he had gotten there it was too late as the Lycanthropoid had taken off in her black jeep. "Oh great!" Gar said to himself. "How am I supposed to tell her that Sensei is having me, Luan and Carla fight spar against her in only a few minutes?"
