Which is when she came to work...and a problem.
"What are YOU doing here?" Brianna demanded as she came to a stop in front of Daishi.
"Not now, Diggers," the ninja said irritably. "I'm working."
"What does Talon have you doing here?" she demanded suspiciously.
"I'm not working for Talon," Daishi said. "This is a side job."
"Eh?" Brianna said. "You're working security the same place I'm working?"
"You're. Working. Here?" Daishi said slowly.
"That's right," Brianna said folding her arms.
"As what?" Daishi asked, almost afraid to ask.
"I'm one of the models," Brianna said.
Daishi stared at her for a long moment. It didn't seem that different from his regular stare, really.
"Excuse me if I am mistaken, but aren't under ten years old," Daishi asked.
"That depends on how you look at it," Brianna protested. "Just let me through, I'm already late. Or would you rather go mano-i-mano with me and what ever goodies I got on hand?"
The ninja outright glared at the bluff. Both of them knew that Brianna was not geared for a fight with the ninja.
"And not a word about my age!" Brianna snapped.
