No, this was Ifurita versus Sailor Pluto. Subtle wasn't anywhere in the neighborhood.
Ifurita whipped her staff around. "I will not tolerate you attacking Makoto. Dead scream!"
Sailor Pluto saw her own attack heading her way and almost dodged out of the way.
The explosion sent her back on her bottom.
Sailor Mercury noticed a small bottle rolling away from Pluto. "Setsuna-san? How many of those caffeine pills have you taken?"
Sailor Pluto twisted, teleported, and appeared so that she could attack Makoto Mizuhara from another angle.
WHANG!
Only someone parried her Time Key Staff with her Power Key Staff.
THWANG! WHANG! KLANK!
Setsuna frowned at Ifurita. Ifurita frowned at Setsuna.
WHAK! WHAM! THWAK!
Ifurita pressed against Pluto's staff. Pluto shifted the block and pressed back.
WHAM! KLANG!
The two leapt back to face each other.
"This proves that Makoto Mizuhara is a threat to Crystal Tokyo!" Pluto declared. "He even has his own yoma! Dead Scream!"
"You call me one, but you act the part! Dead Scream!"
Everyone stared at this new girl firing off a Dead Scream.
"Think she'd look good in a Sailor seifuku?" Moon asked. "I think Pluto-san needs a vacation."
"With wrap-around sleeves," added Sailor Venus, still miffed that all of her failures in the romance department might have been the result of Sailor Pluto meddling with the past.
"Obviously we've missed a lot," said Sailor Uranus as she landed.
"I'd say we should pose and do our 'New Age' spiel, but frankly I'm getting a headache," said Sailor Neptune as she landed. "Anyone got some ibuprofen?"
"Sailor Pluto has apparently been taking these," said Mercury, holding up the bottle of caffeine pills. "She's also showing signs of a nervous breakdown and is going around trying to kill people for the sake of Crystal Tokyo."
"I see," said Sailor Uranus, watching as some girl she didn't know got a good thwack onto the little ball of hair atop Sailor Pluto's head. Sailor Pluto staggered.
"So what do you want to do?" Sailor Neptune asked, taking two naprosyn which Jupiter apparently had tucked away for just such an emergency.
"We side with Pluto for Crystal Tokyo, and we're dissing the Princess again," said Uranus. "We side with the Princess and we're ignoring what might happen to Crystal Tokyo."
"Yes?" Sailor Neptune asked.
Sailor Uranus thought about it. "Let's go home and take care of your headache."
"Sounds good," agreed Sailor Neptune, following Uranus off scene.
"I didn't know Setsuna-san knew martial arts," said Sailor Venus as Pluto began using bo staff manuevers with her Time Key Staff.
Ifurita flipped back to hover in midair just out of reach of Pluto. "Badger Slash!"
"Hmmm. A vaccuum vortex attack," said Mercury, fascinated by the readings her visor was giving her.
"I think Sailor Moon is right, we could really use someone like that on our side," said Sailor Venus. "After all, why should we be so exclusive? We could have a Legion Of Magical Girls and a clubhouse and everything."
"Hmmmmm," said a number of girls, nodding at the thought and seeing benefits. At which point they realized that next to them was:
