If there was on thing that Nabiki was, she was controlled. The middle Tendo was intelligent, creative and crafty and she knew it. She was able to con fools out of their money without batting an eye. There was no illusion for her as to any great martial arts prowess, but she knew that if one used their mind to their advantage, they could win battles without a single blow. Confident in her abilities, she was able to walk the streets of Nerima and not flinch.

And at the moment, she was trying not to take out a page out of her little sister's book by bashing a certain panda. She had always thought that she was simply manipulating a loudmouthed jock with great buns. The whole thing had been fun and made some money for her.

What she found out from the report that his so-called 'training journey' was a trial full of what could be best defined as lies, child torture and suffering all for the whims of either an idiot or mad man. Perhaps both. It was like someone finding out that the mutt they'd just kicked was a retired and highly decorated rescue dog that had terminal cancer.

To say the least: She. Was. Not. Pleased.

Tossing the report to Akane, Nabiki rose and turned to leave the room.

"Where are you going?" asked the youngest Tendo.

"I've got to go and check the family ledgers."

"Why?"

"I have to see how much to charge a certain panda. And then I'm going to make some phone calls. I suggest that you read that."
