Having returned from changing in her room, Nabiki looked at the girl and for some reason just couldn't come up with a ribald comment or two. This was prime teasing material, but she didn't feel right doing to this particular individual. Instead, she found herself watching and trying to figure out what sort of chaos that Saotome had gotten involved in this time.
Happosai had finally gotten with the good vibes, and realised that he'd be twitching on the floor if he continued to be around such sweetness, so he left to go contemplate purity, warmth and sanctity, though knowing him that would mean stealing a pure girl's unmentionables.
Ranma just scratched his head and wondered why everyone else was so quiet.
Handing a cup of her best tea over to their newest visitor, Kasumi gave a bright smile. "There you go. I hope you like it."
"I am sure that I will, as you are being too kind Kasumi-san," Belldandy replied as she took as sip. "Oh! This is quite good!"
"Do you mean that? I was afraid that it might not suit your tastes..."
"No, no... I simply love this blend, but it's so hard to get a hold of."
"I know, but I thought it best to have something like this to treat visitors. So many interesting people come around here that it seemed to be a good idea."
Belldandy nodded. "I can understand that quite well. You must be a wonderful hostess."
"I try to do what I can..."
"Which seems to be a lot..."
"Not that I want to break up this happy little moment that you've had going since you brought out that tea service," Nabiki commented, slightly surprised that she realised that she meant it. "But would someone mind explaining what's going on? I mean, where did you come from, and why are you here?"
"Oh yes, that is important," the replacement 'genie' replied, "You see, Ranma here found a lamp which is supposed to have a genie inside of it who would grant him what he wishes for, but it depends on what he does ask. The bigger the wishes, the less of them he gets. Except that she's on vacation, and I told her that I'd take over while she has to be away."
Oddly enough, the three sisters looked at her, and found that the story, while rather odd didn't sound so... unbelieveable when she told it.
"Okay," the middle Tendo girl said. "So if that's the case, why is he here, and not getting what his heart desires."
"That's the funny thing," Ranma answered as he rubbed the back of his head, "I'm kinda bad with words, so... I brought her back here so that I could think about it, and see if any of ya had a good idea."
"You were looking for advice?"
"Remember what happened with that sword Kuno pulled out?"
"Ah, yes... You've actually used your head for thinking. Good job."
"Thanks... I think..."
"You're welcome."
Frowning in slight confusion, Akane looked to the goddess. "So Ranma gets three wishes?"
"Three, if they're small. He gets two medium ones or one big one. It just depends on what he wishes for, once he decides what he wants."
Three sets of human eyes turned to look at the pigtailed martial artist as he ducked his head while:
